“The Most Pressing Problems of the EuroZone and Beyond”

Policy contortions with respect to Eurozone peripheries are presently very important.  Much more important, however, are longer-term issuesundefinedvery high public expenditures relative to GDP, associated aging issues, and yet another, voluntarily undertaken burdenundefined“fighting global warming.“ Even with successful institutional rearrangements of the Eurozone, unsolved issues threaten not only its existence, but the very well-being of Europe.
